Serving Our Community

Taking a Stand for Our Community.

At EDR, we believe in giving all we can to the communities in which we live and work. In addition to the contributions of time and effort to areas affected by hurricanes, Andy and two others have more than 55 years combined as members of local fire departments. One is a licensed fire inspector who has over four years of experience in that capacity for the village he serves. These guys understand the intricacies of fire science and how it affects your home.

We give back to the community in other ways, too. We support the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin through initiating blood drives and in donating our own blood, some of us sitting in the donation chair every eight weeks. Two of our team members can claim our donation levels to be in the gallons.

Each December our office hosts a viewing of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train. During this event, we hand out free hot chocolate or popcorn to those who stop by. Our location offers a prime view, with the stage of the train stopping virtually in front of our building. Come enjoy the live music with us this year! We have also raised hundreds of dollars in cash donations and many, many pounds of canned goods for the food pantries in the area.

In the summer of 2018, Emergency Disaster Recovery partnered with Pantheon Industries of Oconomowoc, offering a disabled young person the chance to perform office duties for the company, giving the youth an opportunity he might not have experienced otherwise. It was a beneficial arrangement for all involved. He worked with our team for the entire summer, performed excellent work!
